Tulpamancer partnered with Portland Community Squash, a non-profit dedicated to building lifelong relationships with squash and wellness, to help them promote their annual fundraising gala, the Squash Ball. We worked to develop video content, print and digital invitations, and a refreshed homepage for their website to promote the event.
Summary
2024 was a huge year for Portland Community Squash and the reveal of their new building was the embodiment of the tremendous growth they'd experienced since they started their work in the basement of the local YMCA.
Such a banner year required a similarly lavish gala event to celebrate its opening -- the Squash Ball.
We stepped in to help the organization promote the event and create buzz about the possibilities that the new space, which they called "PCS 2.0" provided: a new cafe space, doubles courts, brand new fitness facilities, to name only a few.
Relying on unscripted interviews, we compiled a series of videos about what the "perfect day at PCS 2.0" looks like for participants, staff, board members, and more, which were distributed across social media leading up to the event. We also designed their "save the dates" and invitations and gave a facelift to their website to match.
