Tulpamancer partnered with the Portland Gear Hub and its parent organization, Camp Ketcha, to create a video that encapsulates the work the organization does to improve access to mobility for people across southern Maine.

Summary

In 2024, the Portland Gear Hub was on the verge of a major development: the acquisition of their primary building on Washington Avenue in downtown Portland. This would be one of the biggest investments the organization made for their future, and to meet the fundraising goals, they needed content to share that could clearly communicate the value this non-profit provides to the community.

We worked closely with leadership to film a series of interviews with key stakeholders, from the board to staff to program participants, which we supplemented with b-roll from key programs they run, including the Bikes for All Mainers and the Kids Bike Party programs.

Working against a tight deadline, we turned around the project, from filming to final product, in less than a month.
