We partnered with Adjuma, a brand new recruitment platform in Ghana, to help them craft a brand identity that would help them achieve their goal of connecting 1,000,000 Ghanaians with 1,000,000 jobs.
Summary
Gimbala Sankare saw a challenge in Ghana: there were plenty of educated and qualified workers, but they lacked a platform to connect them with the jobs that needed to be filled. That's how Adjuma came to be.
Working with Ghanaian software developers, he set out to build that platform with the goal of connecting 1,000,000 Ghanaians with 1,000,000 jobs.
We helped him create a logo and brand identity that not only conveyed friendly, user-focused accessibility but also alluded to the Ghanaian roots of the company. We looked to the Star of Africa as a design reference, created a color palette anchored in the colors of the Ghanaian flag, and even played into the varied spellings of "Adjuma", a Twi-language word meaning "work": it is sometimes spelled with either just the "j" or just the "d", so we connected those two elements for better retention of the brand name.
